北园大学的使命，作为中国的大学 Evangelical Covenant Church, 是通过文科教育让学生为有意义的生活和服务做好准备, professional studies, and theology.

Vision

Building on our core institutional identity—Christian, city-centered, 跨文化——我们的愿景是创建一所与众不同、经久不衰的优秀大学, where faith, learning, and service meet.

Aspiration

北园大学将在未来十年乃至更长时间内成为全国领先的以城市为中心的基督教大学.

大学的学习型社区通过将城市作为学习主体和学习场所作为学术卓越的基础而与众不同. Within this framework, 这所大学教育来自不同背景的学生, cultures, and prior academic experiences, 与所有信仰传统的学生一起实践基督教的款待，同时以福音圣约教会的肯定为中心.
